Our practice has stood the test of time. We have been providing excellent dental care to the West Orange community since 1898. Dr. Chusid took over the practice in 1977. Our mission is to provide high-quality service and give our patients a great experience.

Dr. Chusid and Dr. Salazar spend a lot of time with their patients to deliver beautiful, long-lasting results. Our office creates a welcoming atmosphere, equipped with modern amenities, including pillows, TVs, music, and Tempur-Pedic cushions on our chairs.

Dr. Michael Chusid
Dr. Michael Chusid grew up in New Jersey and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has 40 years of experience in cosmetics and 36 years of experience in dental implant procedures. Dr. Chusid is certified in the pinhole surgical technique. He enjoys being a dentist because of the relationships he develops with his patients.
Dr. Chusid is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Dr. Jonathan Salazar
Dr. Jonathan Salazar grew up in Kearny, NJ. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He completed his general practice dental residency at Newark Beth, Israel. Dr. Salazar entered the dental field in 2007 and joined our office in 2011.
Meet Our Staff
Kim
Kim has been a registered dental hygienist at Chusid Dental Group since 2011. She grew up in Bergen County, NJ, and received her AS degree from Westbrook College in Portland, ME. Kim has been in the dental field since 1984. She loves helping patients restore their oral health to sustain their systemic health.
In her free time, Kim is a caregiver, a domestic engineer, and an activist. She also enjoys biking and going to the gym.
Mindy
Mindy grew up in Long Island, NY, and joined our front desk team in May 2021. She has been working in the dental field since 2009. Mindy enjoys meeting new and interesting people at work and helping patients enjoy the dentist.
Mindy is married and has one son. Her family loves hanging out together and visiting family in Florida. In her free time, Mindy enjoys playing Mahjong and Canasta. She also works at a DIY wood workshop called Board & Brush for fun.
